Once again, we’d like to wish all of our customers from far and wide the compliments of the season. We’ll be working hard for you right up to Christmas, and we will be open until then, including Christmas Eve. We’ll then take our annual break, and we will re-open on Monday January 3rd. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Hi Everyone! We’d like to wish you all the compliments of the season and of course, if you’re a regular here at the Mermaid, we’ll have our free calendars available for you this week.
The Mermaid will be open until 9pm on Christmas Eve, and then we’ll be having our usual week’s break, opening again on 2 January. We hope to see you soon!

We know, we know: those of you who want The Mermaid to remain one of Cambridge’s best-kept secrets probably didn’t want us to start broadcasting our existence to the world on the interweb. But times move on, and everyone wants us to have a web site if only so they can remind themselves of the phone number. However, we hope to do a bit more here than just publish the menu and our contact details: if we can just find time to put down our hot woks for a moment, we’ll also write a bit about the team here, some of the lesser-known (but great!) dishes which are hidden in the menus, and any other goings-on at – sssh – “The Best Chinese Takeaway in Cambridge” (that’s from one of our customers, we promise!).
